NOTATION.RECONSTRUCTED

April 14th, 2015 marked the fifteenth founding anniversary of Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts. On this occasion, we took great pleasure in inviting the public to, Notation.Reconstructed a solo exhibition of paintings by acclaimed painter, Kazi Ghiyasuddin.

Both the date and the exhibition are milestones in our gallery’s journey within the fine arts movement of Bangladesh. We not only celebrated a decade and a half of fruitful collaborations with artists and viewers around the world; we also looked towards an even brighter future for fine art in Bangladesh.

Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, the Honourable Minister for Cultural Affairs, Government of Bangladesh, was present as chief guest. Matiur Rahman, Editor of the Prothom Alo was present as special guest. They jointly inaugurated the exhibition at 6 pm on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 . Abul Khair, Chairman of Bengal Foundation, presided over the event.
